Everyone at Binn Group congratulates our apprentice mechanic James Munro for lifting a Highly Commended certificate at the glittering 2015 Perthshire Chamber of Commerce Business Star Awards at the weekend.
In front of an audience of almost 400 – including Scotland’s Depute First Minister John Swinney MSP – James was praised by judges for his “instinct and passion for his job and his willingness to study” before being presented with his runner-up honour in the Apprentice Of The Year category sponsored by Perth College UHI.
James joined the Binn Group workforce in 2013 and is now serving the third and final year of his apprenticeship, working as part of a team of five, including two mechanics and two welders.
James is a highly valued member of the Binn Group “family” and his outstanding skills and capabilities prompted his bosses to put him forward for the accolade. And everyone is delighted that the judges recognised and rewarded these special qualities as well. Well done James!
