Service Issue – Weather Alert

News Article - Snow
In response to the MET Office Red warning that has been issued for the central belt between the hours of 1500 Wednesday 28/02/18 and 1000 Thursday 01/03/18.

Due to the adverse and challenging weather conditions, we have recalled all Binn Group vehicles, to ensure our team members safety. With the forecast still very uncertain, we are unfortunately currently unable to confirm when operations including collections and exchanges will be rescheduled.

We will endeavour to ensure that all of our customers’ locations are serviced as soon as possible when road conditions allow.

We recognise the inconvenience this may cause, but appreciate your understanding and thank you in advance for your support and cooperation.

*Update 5/03/2018 – As of this morning, all Binn Group drivers are now back on the road!

We will be back to our normal scheduled collection service this week, and where we have missed collections due to the adverse weather conditions we will carry out site clearances where required.

However we would politely like to remind customers to ensure that all bins are accessible to our drivers, as we appreciate that snow will have been cleared from the roads but paths and access to bins must also be clear to protect the health and safety of our drivers.

Everyone at Binn Group would like to thank all of our customers for their patience and understanding during the disruption caused by the severe weather this past week, and we look forward to resuming our normal service.
