A team from Binnwaste Management gave an informative and well-received presentation on the future of both the company and the waste industry as part of Perthshire Chamber of Commerce and Perth College UHI’s series of free lectures.
“The Future Is Zero Waste” was headed up by business development manager Jim Renton, sales executive Carol Holbein-Neville and John Ferguson of the Binn Eco Park project. Chairman John MacGregor was also present to answer questions from the audience.
Throughout the hour-long lecture, the team outlined the services offered by Binnwaste Management (through Binn Skips and other facilities), new legislation governing waste management and future plans for the futuristic Eco Park at Binnwaste’s Glenfarg complex.
The presentation to representatives of the business community detailed how to combat increasing costs, comply with government targets as detailed in their Zero Waste Policy and reduce the financial and physical demands of commercial waste disposal
