Binn Group is proud to be a key sponsor of this weekend’s 154th Perth Show – Perthshire’s annual showcase and celebration of the agricultural sector.
And Binn Group Chairman John MacGregor will fulfil a third year as Patron of the Friday and Saturday show which draws farmers, suppliers, competitors, traders and the public from all over Perthshire and beyond.
John was previously Vice-President of the Show for several years. John, whose family has been involved in farming for generations, said he was “proud and honoured” to be Patron again.
“Binn Group has been associated with Perth Show over many years – latterly as key sponsors,” he said. “We’re delighted to be involved in this supporting role again.”
“Perth Show is a key feature on both the city’s and the agricultural community’s calendar and as farmers and businesspeople we realise its importance to the local community, the local economy, tourism and farming.”
The MacGregor family farm around 2000 acres at the Balvaird Estate comprising Binn, Balvaird and Catochil Farms. They run around 350 beef cattle on the land with 400 acres made over to arable. The estate also comprises the 300 acre Binn Eco-Park where the farming family first established a landfill site in 1991 and have since grown their waste management and recycling business.
Binn Group will also be handling all Perth Show’s waste collection and recycling needs throughout the two-day event.
