Binn Group is offering “bags of support” for the inaugural fundraising Meningitis Now Alexis Rose 10k Trail Race taking place across Moncreiffe Hill on the outskirts of Perth this coming Sunday (July 19th).
Binn is delighted to be one of the sponsors of this new challenge which will see around 150 runners take to a spectacular route across Moncreiffe Hill for the first time ever. The race is being organised by dedicated Meningitis fundraiser Alan Glynn from Perth in memory of his daughter Alexis Rose, who tragically died of the disease aged just 19 months in 2011.
In addition to providing recycled fabric “bags for life” as the race goodie bags, Binn Group is supporting the event financially to help boost Alan’s funds for Meningitis Now which will save lives and rebuild futures by funding research, raising awareness and providing support to those affected by the disease.
To date, Alan has raised more than £100,000 for the charity, having run more than 30 races, but Sunday’s event will be the first to bear his late daughter’s name. It is hoped the Alexis Rose 10k Trail Race will become an annual event.
