Binn Group has added the popular five-star Fairmont Hotel at St Andrews to its growing list of clients.
A fully integrated waste management service package has been rolled out to cover all aspects of the hotel’s waste collection and processing requirements.
The one-year rolling contract deals with all waste streams generated by the large hotel and golf club complex – including food waste, mixed recyclables. green waste and general waste.
Binn Group Commercial Director Jim Brown said the company was delighted to be working with such a prestigious new customer.
“The Fairmount is one of Scotland’s premier luxury hotels,” he said, “and Binn Group is playing an important part in ensuring that – from an environmental perspective – they are meeting their legal obligations and ensuring they are diverting all waste from landfill.
“We’re delighted to offer a totally compliant service for the collection, processing and recycling of that waste.”
Scotland’s largest homebuilder has also selected Binn Group as a regional contractor for their services national framework.
Binn Group will operate a full waste management for the Robertson Group’s sites in the Tayside, Fife and Stirlingshire areas and are already servicing construction sites in Perth, Dundee and Rosyth.
All site waste materials – from inert and packaging to brick and timber – is taken to Binn EcoPark at Glenfarg, providing 100% diversion from landfill for the materials collected.
