Binn Group in the Community

RHET Tractor Tour

Chipping in for the environment

Ian Flaherty, Sales Manager with Binn Group, said the environmental aspect of golf course management has never been more important – especially for a prestigious club such as Blairgowrie.

“Making it easy for member golfers and visitors alike to recycle is a big part of that and Binn Group is more than happy to support the club’s move to tee up improved facilities.

“We’re more than happy to sponsor the litter bins for the Rosemount course and ensure that golfers can play their part in recycling and keeping what is a beautiful course free from litter,” he said.

“The new bins we have provided have been well received and Binn Group look forward to working closely with the team at Blairgowrie as we take the partnership forward.”

Big screen debut for Binn Group

Binn Group has hit the big screen!

We are supporting Abernethy Community Cinema as it brings popular movies to the rural residents. And Binn Group features in an advert shown before the main screening each time.

The not-for-profit community initiative has been praised by Binn Group CEO Allan MacGregor.

“It is fantastic to see a local community such as Abernethy work together to provide this sort of facility for the local residents,” he said.

“Binn Group is happy to support such a worthwhile and imaginative enterprise in our own small way.

“We support many community projects but this is the first one where we hit the big screen as a result!”

Binn supporting RHET Tractor Tour

Binn Group is proud to be supporting this very worthwhile initiative, along with farm machinery dealer Hamilton Ross Group and Allison Enterprises. The beautiful sculpture, made from recycled farm metals, was crafted by Kev Paxton of ArtFe, Ratho.

The tour aims to raise £6,000 for The Royal Highland Education Trust as part of their 20th-anniversary celebrations. It is 20 years since RHET started the journey of better educating the children of Scotland in where their food comes from, and making them more aware of the environment around them.

Allan Macgregor, Binn Group CEO, said “We are very much a country based business that has a deep love for farming and agriculture. I believe it is vital that young people understand the importance of the countryside, where their food comes from and how to protect the farming community. We are proud to be supporting the RHET in this journey and helping them to raise funds for their continued work.”
