A second season in the Premiership
Binn Group is enjoying a second season as front-of-shirt sponsors of Scottish Premier team St Johnstone.
The resource management company is in the second year of a two-year deal to support the Perth-based football club as their main sponsors. And the high-profile backing is helping promote the Binn Group name far and wide.
“Binn Group has enjoyed a long association with St Johnstone over many years,” explained Commercial Director Jim Brown.
“We’re proud to support our local club through each season and our time as front-of-shirt sponsors is proving a two-way support partnership.”
Mr Brown explained that as the Premiership side enjoyed extensive media coverage at both local and national level, the Binn Group name and brand was being taken to a whole new audience.
“The partnership also allows us to promote our joint support of fitness and health and good lifestyle choices within our local community,” said Mr Brown.
“It’s been particularly rewarding to work with the Chairman, directors, staff and players to support each other and maximise the potential from this enhanced sponsorship.”
Rough Running for charity
After the success with Tough Mudder last year, the Binn team wanted to follow on with something else exciting.
In 2019 we decided to do Rough Runner, have some fun and raise some cash for the same charities as last year, Speak and CHAS.
The 5km innovative obstacle event has a series of obstacles, each of which provides a unique challenge to test agility, strength and teamwork.
The event took place on the 17th of August, at Penicuik, just outside Edinburgh, with 35 of our team taking part. We had staff from across the company joining in, from directors to office staff, drivers, machine operators and folk from the picking stations.
Danny McTear, HR Manager, says “It’s really good to see so many people across the business giving their time and energy to raise money for such good causes. We know the positive difference that both these organisations can make to peoples’ lives and we’re proud to support them.”
